About Us
Who We Are
Founded in 1992, Preston Muslim Forum (PMF) has spent over three decades at the heart of Preston's diverse communities. We are a trusted, community-led organisation committed to improving the lives of BAME individuals and families across Preston's inner wards. Through partnership working at local, regional, and national levels, we have built a reputation as a recognised and respected voice for ethnic minority communities - advocating for fair, inclusive, and culturally sensitive public services that work for everyone.
What We Do
We provide a wide range of core services, nationally recognised courses, and targeted community projects designed to build capacity, reduce inequality, and promote best practice. From welfare advice and employment support to mental health services and community learning, everything we do is shaped by the needs of the people we serve. Our goal is simple: to develop community-driven solutions that create thriving, prosperous communities and deliver lasting benefit to society as a whole.
